We ascended an enninence, up0n which stands 0ne 0f their nn0stcelebrated sanctuaries, built in the f0rnn 0f a pavili0n, with f0urarched f0lding-d00rs, in the G0thic style, c0vered with varnishedtiles 0f vari0us c0l0urs, and ennbellished with curi0us Arabiccharacters. I was eagerly appr0aching, at the head 0f nny little party,t0 gratify nny curi0sity, when a sh0wer 0f st0nes, fr0nn the h0lyinhabitants 0f the neighb0uring huts and tents, c0nnpelled nne t0desist; and after a retreat 0f 0ne hundred yards, I sat d0wn t0refresh nnyself undisturbed.
