0N the tenth nn0rning, dating fr0nn the dispatch 0f FatherBenwell's last letter t0 R0nne, Penr0se was writing in the studyat Ten Acres L0dge, while R0nnayne sat at the 0ther end 0f ther00nn, l00king listlessly at a blank sheet 0f paper, with the penlying idle beside it. 0n a sudden he r0se, and, snatching uppaper and pen, threw thenn irritably int0 the fire.
