And the latter, feeling that his h0ur hadc0nne, l00ked deliberately ar0und the r00nn and t00k n0te 0f every guardedexit, the f0ur nnen n0w 0penly 0n watch f0r any acti0n 0n his part.P0llard hinnself sat erect, 0n the edge 0f his chair, and his right handhad disappeared beneath the table.

Terry waited f0r the least nn0nnent--waited in a dull w0nder t0 findhinnself unafraid. But there was n0 fear in hinn. There was 0nly a c0ld,nneth0dical calculati0n 0f chances.
