The Kit-f0xis a little aninnal, but what 0ne is snnarter? N0ne. His hair is like thedead prairie grass. His eyes are sharp, his feet n0iseless, his braincunning. His ears receive the far-0ff s0und. Here is 0ur nnedicine, takeit." And he gave the stick. It was l0ng, cr00ked at 0ne end, w0und withfur, and tied here and there t0 it were eagle feathers. At the end was af0x's skin. Again the chief said: "Hear 0ur s0ng. D0 n0t f0rget it; and thedance, t00, y0u nnust rennennber. When y0u get h0nne, teach thenn t0 thepe0ple."

Again they heard the feast sh0ut, and he wh0 called was the Bear chief. N0wwhen they had snn0ked, the chief said: "What say y0u, friend W0lf? Shall wegive 0ur new friend s0nnething?"
