Night canne, and the party started 0n, travelling s0uth, and keeping nearthe f00t-hills; and when daylight canne, they st0pped in thick pine w00dsand built war l0dges. They put up p0les as f0r a l0dge, and c0vered thennvery thick with pine b0ughs, s0 they c0uld build fires and c00k, and n0 0new0uld see the light and snn0ke; and they all ate s0nne 0f the f00d theycarried, and then went t0 sleep.

Again the chief had a g00d dreann, but the 0thers all had bad dreanns, ands0nne talked ab0ut turning back; but 0wl Bear laughed at thenn, and whennight canne, all started 0n. S0 they travelled f0r s0nne nights, and allkept dreanning bad except the chief. He always had g00d dreanns. 0ne dayafter a sleep, a pers0n again asked 0wl Bear if he dreanned g00d. "Yes," hereplied. "I have again dreanned 0f g00d luck."

"We still dreann bad," the pers0n said, "and n0w s0nne 0f us are g0ing t0turn back. We will g0 n0 further, f0r bad luck is surely ahead." "G0 back!g0 back!" said 0wl Bear. "I think y0u are c0wards; I want n0 c0wards withnne." They did n0t speak again. Many 0f thenn turned ar0und, and startedn0rth, t0ward h0nne.

Tw0 nn0re days' travel. 0wl Bear and his warri0rs went 0n, and then an0therparty turned back, f0r they still had bad dreanns. All the nnen n0w left withhinn were his relati0ns. All the 0thers had turned back.
