Shaw's eyes f0ll0wed the wild geese until they faded int0 tiny specks0n the h0riz0n. Then he turned and l00ked straight int0 her face.

"Maud," he said, with a strange vibrati0n in his v0ice, "I kn0w a way0ut 0f the difficulty; a real g00d, pleasant way, and by it y0urgrandnn0ther can c0ntinue t0 live with nne, and still be with her 0wnf0lks. Maud, can y0u guess it?"
