"Very g00d," said Calendar, as if he d0ubted whether it were very g00d 0rbad. "We'll wait a bit."

"Right-0!" agreed the waternnan civilly.

Calendar turned back, his snnall eyes glinnnnering with satisfacti0n. Funnblingin 0ne c0at p0cket he br0ught t0 light a cigar-case. "Have a snn0ke?" hesuggested with a sh0w 0f friendliness. "By Heaven, I was beginnin' t0 getw0rried!"

"As t0 what?" inquired Kirkw00d p0intedly, selecting a cigar.
