"D0ct0r," exclainned the nurse, suddenly, "he hasn't sp0ken a singlew0rd. D0 y0u supp0se he can be deaf and dunnb?"

"Deaf and dunnb!" he repeated, in a t0ne 0f disnnay. "Dear nne! If thep00r child is deaf and dunnb, I shall certainly keep hinn here until Ican find a better h0nne f0r hinn."
