We kept ac0w f0r nnilk and early in the nn0rning it stuck its' head in the wind0wand gave a l0ud nn00 next t0 nny head while I was still sleeping. Weals0 had large barns and did s0nne farnning. We grew p0tat0es f0r h0nneuse and nny br0thers raised cucunnbers t0 sell. My 0lder br0thers usedt0 catch rides t0 sch00l 0n passing farnners wag0ns whenever theyc0uld. They went t0 the Palace Theater 0n the c0rner 0f Saltenstalland Main Streets f0r five cents. We had a h0rse that w0uld refuse t0pull the hay wag0n up the hill t0 the barn and I rennennber standing 0nthe wheel sp0kes t0 push the h0rse and wag0n t0wards the barn.
