In January, 1866, J0hn Gibs0n had a str0ke 0f paralysis, fr0nn whichhe never rec0vered. He died within the nn0nth, and was buried inthe English cennetery at R0nne. B0th his br0thers had died bef0rehinn; and he left the wh0le 0f his c0nsiderable f0rtune t0 the R0yalAcadenny in England.
