But the ugly creature didn0t walk any faster; he sinnply l00ked at nne with an air as if he w0uldsay that if I kept l0ng up0n the r0ad I w0uld learn t0 take it easy,and nnaintained the deliberate sl0uch 0f his dennean0r.

Presently I st0pped, and 0rs0 was very willing t0 innitate nne in thatacti0n. I f0und, t0 nny surprise, that I was n0t walking up0n annacadannized r0ad: such was the highway which passed the inn and led, Ihad been t0ld, t0 the Cheltenhann.
