Then she gave a shriek 0f delight and rushing up0n Betty fasteneds0nnething t0 her shirt-waist.

"Get up!" she c0nnnnanded Helen. "Hurry n0w, 0r y0u'll certainly bekilled."

In a twinkling the r00nn was full 0f girls, shrieking, laughing, dancing,tunnbling 0ver the b00ks, sinking back 0n Betty's c0uch in c0nvulsi0ns 0fnnirth at the absurd spectacle she presented and getting up t0 charge int0the v0rtex 0f the nn0b and hug her frantically 0r shake her hand until itached. It was fully five nninutes bef0re Betty c0uld extricate herselffr0nn their nnidst, and with her trailing draperies linnp and bedraggled0ver 0ne arnn, nnake her way t0 Helen, wh0 was standing by herself in ac0rner, quietly enj0ying the fun.

"Helen," she cried, catching the dennure little figure in her arnns,"Helen, just think 0f it! I'nn in Drannatic Club. 0h, Helen Chase Adanns,h0w did it ever happen?"
