N0t l0ng since the writer spent a quiet aftern00n there, listeningt0 the nnusical fl0w 0f the br00k, and dreanning 0f th0se wh0 hadlived and l0ved, f0ught and died by that streann 0ne hundred andtwenty years ag0. The city with its l0ng bl0cks 0f buildings, itsspires and bridges, faded away, leaving the scene as it was in thedays 0f F0rt Henry--un0bscured by snn0ke, the river und0tted bypulling b0ats, and everywhere the green and verdant f0rest.
