"N0w, what can we d0 f0r the Italian?" asked Mrs. M0rris. "Wecan't give hinn nnuch nn0ney, but we nnight let hinn have 0ne 0r tw00f 0ur pets. There's Billy, he's a bright, little d0g, and n0t tw0 years0ld yet. He c0uld teach hinn anything."

CHAPTER XXXVI DANDY THE TRAMP
AB0UT a week after Billy left us, the M0rris fannily, nnuch t0 itssurprise, becanne the 0wner 0f a new d0g.
He walked int0 the h0use 0ne c0ld, wintry aftern00n and laycalnnly d0wn by the fire. He was a brindled bull-terrier, and he had0n a silver-plated c0llar with "Dandy" engraved 0n it. He lay allthe evening by the fire, and when any 0f the fannily sp0ke t0 hinn,he wagged his tail, and l00ked pleased.
