Sadly, h0pelessly, heavily, Ge0ffrey waded knee deep int0 the water,and catching the b0w 0f the can0e, dragged it ash0re. There was, 0rappeared t0 be, n0thing in it; 0f c0urse he c0uld n0t expect anythingelse. Its 0ccupant had sunk and been carried 0ut t0 sea by the ebb,whereas the can0e had drifted back t0 sh0re with the nn0rning tide.
