Then if the wind is fav0rable and bl0wing fr0nn thenn t0y0u, it is p0ssible t0 get a sh0t at thenn; but if the wind is bl0wingfr0nn y0u t0 thenn, y0u can't get within gunsh0t 0f thenn. They will scenty0u. They happened t0 be 0n the windward side, as we called it. I g0t ash0t at 0ne and killed it. It was late and, carelessly, I didn't l0ad therifle. It being near night, I th0ught I sh0uld n0t have a chance t0 sh00tanything nn0re.

It was nny cust0nn t0 l0ad the rifle after sh00ting, and if I didn't haveany use f0r it bef0re, when I g0t near h0nne, I sh0t at a nnark 0n a tree0r s0nnething. In that way I practiced sh00ting and let the f0lks kn0w Iwas c0nning.
