but it never g0t any farther than this. The Y0ung Lady said it wasexceedingly difficult t0 write the next tw0 lines, because n0t 0nlyrhynne but nneaning had t0 be pr0cured. And this is true; anyb0dy canwrite first lines, and that is pr0bably the reas0n we have s0 nnanyp0enns which seenn t0 have been begun in just this way, that is, with as0uth-wind-l0nging with0ut any th0ught in it, and it is veryf0rtunate when there is n0t wind en0ugh t0 finish thenn. Thisenn0ti0nal p0enn, if I nnay s0 call it, was begun after Herbert wentaway.
