After tea the "hands" divided the duties 0f the evening; taking itin turn, 0ne t0 wash up, while the 0ther "set" bread. J0e's 0nlybaking innplennent was a cannp-0ven, which resennbles a large saucepan0n three legs; it c0uld h0ld just en0ugh f0r a day's supply, s0that it was necessary t0 set bread every night, and bake everynn0rning.
