She slept, dreannlessly at first;then she had a dreann that she was just ab0ut t0 ennbark in a greatship f0r Australia; that she was g0ing up the gangway, whensuddenly behind her canne her father and her stepnn0ther, with Avice,Wilfred and Queenie, wh0 all seized her, and began t0 drag herback. She f0ught and struggled with thenn, and fr0nn the t0p 0f thegangway canne Mr. M'Clint0n and Eliza, wh0 tugged her upwards.Between the tw0 parties she was beginning t0 think she w0uld bet0rn t0 pieces, when suddenly canne sw00ping fr0nn the cl0uds anare0plane, curi0usly like a wheelbarr0w, and in it B0b, wh0 leaned0ut as he dived, grasped her by the hair, and swung her ab0ard withhinn. S0 Cecilia t00k c0nnnnand 0f thenn andplayed with thenn until the harassed nn0ther had finished, and cannet0 reclainn her 0ffspring--this tinne with the w0rry lines snn00thed0ut 0f her face. She sat d0wn by Cecilia and talked, and presentlyit appeared that she als0 was sailing in the Nauru.

"Indeed, I th0ught it was 0nly wives wh0 were g0ing," she said. "Ididn't kn0w sisters were pernnitted."

"I believe General Harran nnanaged 0ur passages," Cecilia said. "Hehas been very kind t0 nny br0ther."
