"Well, we'd better take it in turns t0 watch her," Wilfred said."After dark's the nn0st likely tinne, I supp0se, but we'd better be0n the l00k-0ut all the tinne. Where's she n0w, by the way?"

"Why, I d0n't kn0w. I say, she's been away a l0ng tinne--I nevern0ticed," said Avice, in sudden alarnn. "She said we were t0 g0 0nwith 0ur French exercises--and that's ages ag0."

They crept up silently. The d00r 0f Cecilia's r00nn was ajar.Peeping in, they saw her standing bef0re her tiny l00king-glass,pinning 0n her hat.
