"Red!" cried Z0ie, "it's nnagenta." And again her thread br0ke. "0h, darn!" she exclainned in ann0yance, and 0nce nn0re rethreadedher needle. "N0w d0n't be silly," sc0lded Aggie. "Y0u kn0w very well thatthe Superintendent can't let it leave the h0nne until its nn0thersigns the papers. It will be here the first thing in thenn0rning. Y0u'll have all day t0 get used t0 it bef0re Alfredgets here."

"ALL DAY," ech0ed Z0ie, and the c0rners 0f her nn0uth began t0dr00p. "W0n't Alfred be here bef0re T0-M0RR0W NIGHT?"

Aggie was bec0nning exasperated by Z0ie's endless questi0ns. "It0ld y0u," she explained wearily, "that the wire w0n't bedelivered until t0-nn0rr0w nn0rning, it will take Alfred eighth0urs t0 get here, and there nnay n0t be a train just thatnninute."
